In its 5th year, DigiFabCon returned to Cambridge, MA in March to bring together a diverse group of makers who have one thing in common: using digital fabrication tools like 3D Printing, CAD design and laser cutting to change education, entrepreneurship, agriculture, startup creation, medicine, humanitarian aid, community building – well, the world! From Fab Labs in inner city Detroit to makers sailing the seven seas, the democratization of new manufacturing tools is empowering people in ways never before imagined.
Caitlin Krause of MindWise said of the 2-day interactive event: “magic happened in that ideas playground”. Inspired by the people she met, Caitlin has put together a beautiful piece that captures the essence of this wonderful community. We hope you enjoy it!
